Beautiful Hedgerow Baskets hand crafted in Devon - strong, durable and sustainable...and totally environmentally friendly!
Each basket is made of hedgerow species - these can include willow, dogwood, hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, ash, wild rose - this years growth carefully harvested once the leaves have been shed. Whatever nature has to offer at the time.

Hand crafted in Devon by myself - a willow framework with the stunningly vibrant red dogwood, with hazel and a hint of wild rose and blackthorn (no prickles left!) - all gathered from Devon hedgerows - even with the occasional decorative catkin on the hazel! Absolutely stunning round fruit bowl/gathering bowl that looks even better in person. 13 inches rim to rim, 2.5 inches deep. I'm so pleased with yesterday's creation - lovely and round and what perfect colours for Christmas too! If only the sun was shining to fully show of the beautiful colours of this basket! My baskets look great and are designed to work too! This is a big basket - 18 inches high with the handle, 5.5 inches deep and 12 inches wide.

The great thing about this basket is that is has a slight point at one section of the edge which makes washing of your produce in the bowl much easier. A slightly flatter edge is also more comfortable to hold against your side/hip when carrying (in my opinion!!)
